A perfect getaway in Wakefield! We stayed at Auberge Krön last weekend for a one-night birthday getaway for my partner, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and there were so many thoughtful touches to make the celebration special — including a jar of homemade maple syrup (which was incredible). The atmosphere is serene and peaceful — ideal for unwinding, meditating, and simply connecting with each other. We loved the private spa time, which felt luxurious and relaxing. The views from the property are beautiful, and everything about the space invites calm. We also really appreciated the delicious homemade muffins in the fridge, the complementary snacks, and the absolutely amazing waffles in the morning. Every detail felt intentional and generous. Thank you, Auberge Krön, for such a memorable and rejuvenating experience. We can’t wait to come back!
We had the best experience at this place. It is serene and quiet. The breakfast is amazing. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Views are fantastic. It is so warm and tranquil. The spa and sauna are a true bliss especially during mid October.

We celebrated our anniversary here! It’s a perfect weekend get away with your loved ones, friends, or family! LOCATION: It’s 45 minutes outside of Ottawa and in Wakefield. The place is nestled on top of a hill in which you get to enjoy a lovely view of nature! The area itself as well has grocery stores, cafés, restaurants nearby! We were able to drive around and get last minute things we need! ROOMS: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well thought out!!! It has everything you could possibly need ENTIRE HOUSE: It’s huge but very homey! It’s like a home away from home! It’s full of warmth! There’s so much things to do inside! Whether you want to stay outside and just sit to admire the view, enjoy the jacuzzi and view, stay infront of the common area by the fire fit, kitchen, huge balcony over looking the lovely view, or on the book area where all the boardgames/books are. It’s such a Lovely place that feels like a hug! JACUZZI/SAUNA: I attached some photos! But my oh my! We truly enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna! Just wow! Upon Check in, you will be ask what time you’d like to book it and every guest have an hour of use. So it’s not shared with anyone else during your 1hr time. HOSTS/STAFF: This Lovely place is ran/hosted by Luc and Anne. they are such Lovely and wonderful people. They make this place so inviting and warm. They make their guests feel like an old friend they haven’t seen in a while. They’re also such genuine people and very communicative! Luc and Anne even wrote us a letter for our anniversary and have us a bottle of their very own Maple syrup as gift! They also made guests a delicious breakfast that’s included!!! Just truly outstanding and lovely people! BREAKFAST: The talk of the town is their breakfast they have included when you book! It’s delicious and there’s plenty of options to choose from!!! We had such an amazing time! We Will be back! Thank you for being a part of our milestone, for such a serene and relaxing experience. We Will not Forget our memories here. Beautifully located B&B with an amazing view. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, including brushing the snow off our cars! Breakfast each morning was freshly prepared to order. The sauna was a great way to unwind and warm up at the end of the day. Definitely recommend!
We stayed 3 nights with Luc and Anne at their lovely oasis. We were blown away with every aspect of our stay. The BnB itself is beautiful - sitting on a picturesque hill overlooking the entire town of Wakefield. The accommodations were something we have never experienced. The hosts were there to make your stay perfect, from a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning, to snacks through the day, to getting the hot tub/sauna and fire going for us at night. The attention to detail and passion these hosts have is unmatched and they make you feel at home. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat where everything is taken care of. Thanks again for the incredible stay, we will be back !
